Happy Easter Weekend

Easter

I hope wherever you are that you’re having the best weather and the most relaxing time. Woooho Spring is in the air! This week has been busy, busy with Easter lessons and of course lots of boiling and painting of eggs going on! Unfortunately no school holidays here, however, Easter plans include having a perfectly relaxing weekend, lunch with friends and enjoying a few Easter treats along the way!

I kinda love Easter.

The Year of the Snake

Last week we welcomed the arrival of the Year of the Snake (Phil’s great year) with good friends and their families. Firecrackers were lit, red envelopes received and lots of good food enjoyed. Thanks goes to Eva and Harry’s Mums for all the amazing cooking and adopting us for the holiday!

We braved the freezing temperatures to let off boxes of fireworks, light some sparklers and duck when the neighbors did the same (tip: be prepared for anything once you light those things). These celebrations were carried on into the early hours as we had a dumpling feast at midnight and watched Celion Dion sing in Chinese (impressive Celion, very impressive!). All round I would say a pretty successful first New Year!

Happy New Year from us!
